Hamilton Island is the only Whitsundays island with a commercial airport, so you can fly direct from Cairns, Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne with these airlines:
By Ferry
Regular ferries travel direct to the island from the mainland, departing from either the Port of Airlie Marina or Shute Harbour just south of Airlie Beach. There are more than a dozen 60-minute ferry trips daily.
